1. First of all, get yourself and all elderly people in your family vaccinated. Most of the time children catch covid 19 from close contact with family.
  2. Even if you are vaccinated, don’t stop taking standard precautions like hand hygiene, social distancing, and most importantly, wearing a MASK while going outside(avoid going to high-traffic areas).
  3. Clean your home regularly, especially highly used things like door noobs, refrigerator doors, phones, or toys of your children.
  4. If your baby is more than 2 years old teach him to wear a mask if you need to take him outdoors.
  5. Elder children should learn and practice hand hygiene and social distancing.
  6. Don’t miss the FLU vaccine. It is seen that flu shots give cross-protection against covid 19.
  7.  If unfortunately, any family member gets covid 19,  maintain social distancing norms  (and also wear a mask) in your home.
  8. Don’t lock your child 24/7 inside. Try to engage your child in outdoor play for 1-2 hours per day maintaining social distancing. It reduces anxiety and improves immune function.
  9. Avoid sending/taking children to closed gatherings ( coaching classes, public transport shopping malls, birthday parties, etc.).
  10. No role of multivitamin or immunity booster syrups, give your child nutritious homemade food.
