APTAMIL GOLD 1 is the updated version of APTAMIL STAGE 1. It is one of the most popular brands of formula milk in the UK & USA. NAN PRO 1 is the most popular mid-range formula in INDIA. Here, we will be discussing which one offers better nutrients & better value for money.
NAN PRO 1 is a brand from Nestle, a Swiss multinational company. It is one of the most popular brands available in the market.
APTAMIL GOLD 1 is a brand form Danone(nutricia), Netherlands.

1. MACRONUTRIENTS
As you can notice, APTAMIL GOLD 1 is better than NAN PRO 1, in almost all aspects.
HMO( Human milk oligo-saccharides) -GOS, FOS, 2′ FL all are absent in NAN PRO 1(present in NAN EXCELAPRO) but present in APTAMIL GOLD 1.HMOs are prebiotics that helps with digestion, produces soft stool, and strong immunity & promotes growth and brain health.
DHA, ARA, and nucleotides are present in both formulas ( higher amount in APTAMIL GOLD).
Whey: casein ratio is similar in both formulas.
Other macro factors are similar.
2. ELECTROLYTES
Here also, APTAMIL GOLD 1 has a better profile than NAN PRO 1 ( only sodium content in NAN PRO 1 is more desirable).

The price of APTAMIL GOLD 1 is 16% higher than NAN PRO1. Except that, all points are in favor of APTAMIL GOLD 1.
APTAMIL GOLD 1 is the better choice.
Personally, I don’t like any formula milk.
